In the morning of October 31, 2013, some cars drove from the junction of Chenyong avenue and Qingnian avenue to Yongxing county, which indicated the first whole jouney for Chenyong avenue.

Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City handled on-site working conference on the construction site of Chenyong avenue, and required that all the roads and bridges should be finished within one month, so no detours needed when drive from Chenzhou urban city to Yongxing county. In order to check the construction progress, Xiang and Qu led an investigation team to check the construction work of Chenyong avenue again.

Driving along Chenyong avenue, you can enjoy the scenery of Feitianshan Danxia landscape and Dongjiang river. Thanks to the sound construction condition, the investigation team arrived at Bianjiang Xiaokou bridge of Yongxing county quickly.

Donghe bridge and Jingguang railway bridge in Chenzhou High-tech Industrial Zone, Dongjiang bridge in Damianzhou, Suxian district, Bianjiang Xiaokou bridge of Yongxing county and some other controlled projects which faced narrow- neck problem were being handled well currently. Till now, 1.825 billion yuan investment has been fulfilled in Chenyong avenue, covering 87.15% of total amount. All tasks set for Chenyong avenue one month ago were completed well.

Xiang Lili affirmed the work handled out for Chenyong avenue. He stated that though some sections were still under construction, with the efforts of all construction sites, the expected target for the open of whole journey has been completed.

Xiang said, according to the plan, Chenyong avenue should be opened to public before December 26, 2013, all staffs should try their best to keep fighting for the construction of controlled projects, greening projects and natural & human landscapes. At the meantime, management and protection for the avenue should be carried out well accordingly to make sure an ecological, scenic and travelling avenue to be fulfilled with Chenzhou features.

Qu required that, all the principals of the construction sites should pay more attention on the final steps construction of the projects.
