A Municipal Standing Committee Meeting was held by Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee to deliver the spirit of Hunan Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee Expanded Meeting and discuss further work on Chenzhou city’s promotion of overall urban & rural areas development work and basic level party organization construction work. Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee held the meeting. Members of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee attended the meeting.

As discussed at the meeting, overall urban & rural areas development was one of the key points concerned to accelerate Chenzhou city’s take-off, Chenzhou city should find a way with Chenzhou features and meet “two-oriented society” requirement well to forge Chenzhou city as a competitive and international opening city. The general target set at the meeting was to fulfill all “twelfth five-year plan” projects ahead of time schedule in 2014, and rank top place of Hunan province on development speed, “two-oriented society” construction, opening undertaking, and living condition improvement, and forge a batch of high standard demonstration projects of overall urban & rural areas development in 2015 placing in front of Hunan province.

It was required at the meeting that all the departments should unify their ideas and awareness to promote the overall urban & rural areas development with freer minds, more courage, better planning and management mechanisms, stronger financing support, etc. and to ensure all the targets set at the meeting can be fulfilled accordingly.

The issues concerned for further working style rectification and basic level party organization construction were discussed at the meeting as well. As required at the meeting, 80% of the basic level party organizations should be upgraded to “five good” advanced ones in 2014.

It was stated out at the meeting the promotion of service party organization construction and cadres’ working style rectification work should be carried out with the central party’s spirit and Chenzhou features to upgrade its scientific level constantly.
