Xiang Lili met Zheng Huiyou- President of Hong Kong Logistics Association
Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee met Zheng Huiyou- President of Hong Kong Logistics Association on June 19, 2013 when he attended the “Hong Kong Week” activities.
Hong Kong Logistics Association (HKLA) was founded in 1996, which was a first non-profit professional association on promoting logistics development and also a member of Logistics Development Council of Hong Kong SAR Government. Till now, there were 1400 members of the association, covering the logistic service suppliers, factories, trading companies, institute professors, etc.. In 2004, HKLA was authorized as the exclusive exam center for China Logistician by China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing.
Xiang stated that Chenzhou city was in the critical period of acceleration of undertaking industrial transfer development. The key point concerned for its rapid improvement was for decreasing the logistics costs. That’s why Chenzhou city was trying its best for the promotion of modern service industry and introduction of the investor of modern logistics industry. HKLA was with unique advantages on the logistics industry, which would greatly meet Chenzhou city’s development demand. It would be appreciated that more members of HKLA come to visit Chenzhou city and place their investment on Chenzhou city. It was promised to provide better service condition and policies to make sure the sound undertaking industrial transfer development trend and investment condition.
Zhen Huiyou said that HKLA was with abundant experience in the promotion of logistics modernization. Now most of the members were searching for new chances to expand their businesses. Some members have placed some investment in Chenzhou yet. Zhen expressed his demands that more support and better communication platform should be provided by Chenzhou city to attract more members’ investment.
Some Chenzhou municipal leaders accompanied Xiang with this meeting.
