Recently, Guidong Botanical Garden project was started in Zhaiqian town, Guidong county, Chenzhou city.

According to the planning, Guidong Botanical Garden was with a total area of 1000mu and core area of 100mu. Once finished, it would be an ecological tourism destination and a collecting and breeding center of rare plant resources, which would highly upgrade Guidong county’s ecological fame to boost its tourism industry development. Guidong Botanical Garden was designed by the garden and ecological economic planning institute of Zhongshan University. Total 180 million yuan investment will be placed on the rare trees planting, aerobics infrastructure ecological villa and star level farm houses construction, etc.. The entire project is expected to be completed in 2015.
