It was reported that recently over 20 central and Hunan provincial media as Xinhua News Agency Hunan Branch, People’s Daily Online, Hunan Daily, and etc. visited Guidong county and Rucheng county and focused on the development of red tourism industry of great east Hunan province.

The red tourism industry belt of great east Hunan province is distributed along Pingru expressway, including Pingjiang, Liuyang, Liling, Youxian, Chaling, Yanling and Guidong & Rucheng of Chenzhou city. It was learned that a large number of revolutionary sites, memorial places and culture relic protection sites of the First and Second Revolutionary Civil War, Anti-Japanese War and Liberation War were gathered in the area where is famous old revolutionary base area and soviet area nationwide and also an important part of Jinggang Mountain Base. Guidong and Rucheng county where are with profound red culture and unique ecological resources become the bright spots of red tourism industry belt of great east Hunan province.

The interview team visited some sceneries of Guidong county first as Military Regulations Square, former residence of Deng Liqun, Guidong Revolutionary Activity Memorial, sightseeing garden of ten-thousand tea garden, seedling base of taxus chinensis, and etc.. Then went to some sceneries of Rucheng county as former sites of Xiangnan Intifada, Lianxi Academy, Jiulongjiang National Forest Park, Reshui hot spring, and etc. All the sceneries impressed them with vigorous and sound development of tourism industry of great east Hunan province. 

“It is like living in a painting for local people. Due to the higher happiness index, people are more passionate.”Liu Zhuo- one of the reporters from Hunan People’s Radio Station highly appraised that.

“It is deserved to be called as natural oxygen bar with so clear air.”said Tu Xiaolan- one of the reporters from Hunan City Channel. Concerned for the hot spring of Rucheng county, Tu said:“I learned about the ‘hot’feature of its hot spring, but I’m surprised to find that local people are ‘hot’as well, very passionate.”
