After reading the report “A Day of Xiao Diqiu” in Chenzhou Daily on Feb 18,2012, readers were impressed and moved by her kindness to the elders.

Xiao Diqiu, 62 years old, got up 6:00 a.m. and kept a busy day for taking care of the elders in gerocomium for 25 years. She spent the Spring Festival with the seniors, preparing the feast of new year eve, bought new clothes, and dispatched red envelops for them. In the past 25 years, she has behaved as the director of the gerocomium, doctor, purchaser and servants to all the elders. She took part in the funeral processions for the departed ones and prepared everything for them as their children.

Lei Feng related with all goodness, and the “Lei Feng Spirit” symbolized truth, goodness and beauty. We promote Lei Feng Spirit because Lei Feng was both a hero and an ordinary person. His deeds in the daily life can be greatly imitated by average people.
