Academicians of CAS and CAE Offer Consultancy to Chenzhou City for the First Time

“Academicians’visit of both CAS and CAE for Vocational School of Hunan” and Ceremony for the Construction of South Hunan’s National Level Industrial Transfer Demonstration Area about Vocational Education Service of Chenzhou was lauched by Hunan Ministry of education, Chenzhou municipal Party committee, Chenzhou goverment,China Youth newspaper, Chenzhou Vocational Technical College on Feb 22nd, 2012.

 

The academicians who visit Chenzhou are Li Jiaming ( academician of CAS and professor of Tsinghua University and Shanghai Communications University), Yao Shouzhuo (academician of CAS and professor of Hunan University), and Liu Jingnan (academician of CAE and ex-principal of Wuhan University).

 

South Hunan area has been officially approved to be the demonstration area of national level undertaking industrial transfer, which is the forth area of the whole country. Since a batch of advanced manufacture enterprises have been transferred here, now Chenzhou city has a great demand for high talented technicians.

 

Quhai, the mayor of Chenzhou city, stated that Chenzhou city would keep fiinding for more new methods for the development of vocational education. Academicians of CAS and CAE offered consultancy for the construction of south Hunan’s national level industrial transfer about vocational education and accordingly Chenzhou promised to build a platform to cooperate with the academicians,which would greatly help Chenzhou’s industrial transfer sooner or later.

 

During the visit, academicians gave a speech to Chenzhou Vocational Technical College. Li Jiaming figured out that the real talents who are demanded by nationwide large enterprises and factories are the skillful technicians, because it is too hard to find the good ones under the current situation. If students can grasp one professional skill, it would be no problem to find a good job after graduation.

 

Municipal leaders and representatives from some vocational schools and thirteen principals of industry and enterprises attended this activity.
