It was reported that 2016 Hunan Chenzhou 1st Beautiful Rural Tourism and Culture Festival was opened in Sanhe village, Huatang town, Beihu district on Sep. 23, 2016.

This festival which was sponsored by Hunan Tourism Bureau and Chenzhou Government was undertaken by Chenzhou Tourism and Foreign Affairs Bureau and Beihu Government. The theme of the festival was “oxygenic blessing place, enjoying fun in Beihu”. Prologue, opening ceremony, and tourism boutiques of Beihu district were consisted the three main parts of the ceremony, which showed the historical cultures and natural landscapes of Chenzhou city by high tech and sound stage effects. In the meantime, followed the principal line of “the love legend between Dragon Lady and Liuyi”, it presented the audience with unique visual and audio feast of Chenzhou culture, natural sceneries, and folk customs

Besides the ancient natural and cultural resources, visitors can enjoy the rose avenue which is the longest one available in China (about 3.6kms long) and sunflower sea in Sanhe village where is the main venue of opening ceremony. In the meantime, romantic square, wedding square, filial piety square, family farm, and tsunami wind wave pool are opened to public. Visitors can enjoy a unique trip with traditional and modern rural charms.

He Baoxiang- Deputy Governor of Hunan Province, Gao Yangxian- Member of Party Group and Deputy Director of Hunan Tourism Bureau, Yi Pengfei- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee, Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee, Matika- Mayor of Kimberly, South Africa, and some other guests attended the ceremony.

80 photographs were displayed on the exhibition, most of which were taken from aerial view and presented the gorgeous sceneries of Yangtian Lake, Xihe Landscape Belt, Sanhe village, and etc.

Assisted with the advanced technics, stage effects, and sound effects, the brilliant natural world as well as the diligent features of ancestors of Chenzhou city were presented to the audience. 4A level Longnv Landscape is the source of some folk legends as “shepherding by Dragon Lady”, “Liu Yi Legend”, and etc.
