On the morning of December 1st, Hunan's "South Gate" ushered in an agricultural event. The 2017 Hunan (Chenzhou) 3rd Agricultural Products Expo was held in the Chenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center. Deputy Director of the National Agricultural Technology Extension Service Center of the Ministry of Agriculture Wang Ge, General Agronomist of Hunan Agricultural Committee Tang Jianchu, Secretary of the Chenzhou municipal Party committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress Yi Pengfei, Deputy Secretary of the Chenzhou municipal Party committee and Mayor Liu Zhiren and other leaders attended the opening ceremony.

The expo with the theme of "characteristics, communication, brand and cooperation", focused on 3 major functions of "display, exhibition and leading", highlighted the brand building, industry extension, effectiveness and green exhibition, built 5 platforms of "information publishing, production and marketing promotion, industrial integration, brand incubator and foreign cooperation", and set up 10 stands of the Counties, Enterprises Image, Chenzhou Enterprises, Hunan Enterprises, Other Enterprises, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Achievements on Xingjiang-Aid, Agricultural Products of China, Chenzhou Fu Tea and International Agricultural Industry, 42 specially converted exhibition stands and more 1200 standard booths with total area of 48,000 square meters, attracting 950 enterprises from Malaysia, Thailand, Guangdong and other places at home and abroad to participate in the exhibition with nearly 10,000 kinds of products.

"A long tradition of farming culture precipitated the unique Chenzhou agriculture." At the opening ceremony, Liu Zhiren said that Chenzhou municipal Party committee and municipal government thoroughly implemented the strategies of "Innovation-driving and opening-up" and "Industry leading, comprehensive development", vigorously developed the specialty agriculture, implemented the "one county with one product" and "one village with one industry", built 62 national, provincial and municipal agriculture industry demonstration zones and bases, and developed 238 leading enterprises of agricultural industrialization at municipal level or above, created a large number of geographically marked products and national famous brand of agricultural products, such as Dongjiang Fish, Linwu Duck, Yongxing Candy Orange and so on in recent years.

Hunan (Chenzhou) Agricultural Products Expo founded in 2015, was cosponsored by the Hunan Provincial Agriculture Commission and the Chenzhou Municipal People's government, which was the only province famous agricultural expo held in the city of Hunan Province. Since founded for 2 years, the expo has attracted a large number of domestic and foreign buyers and professional visitors to negotiate and purchase, and displayed more than 20 thousand kinds of agricultural products with a turnover of nearly 10 billion yuan and more than 400 thousand visitors, driving thousands of kinds of agricultural products to domestic and international market. Hunan (Chenzhou) Agricultural Products Expo has become an important platform in Hunan and the central region to show local characteristics agricultural products and carry out agricultural exchanges and cooperation, and strived to build into a first-class in the province and famous large agricultural grand event in China.

The six "Top 10" selection activities as the subactivity of the 2017 Hunan (Chenzhou) 3rd Agricultural Products Expo, were selected by the Internet and other new media before the exhibition to select my favorite "Top 10 beautiful towns", "Top 10 beautiful villages", "Top 10 famous brands of agricultural products", "Top 10 marked agricultural leading enterprises" and "Top 10 demonstrative leisure farms" in Chenzhou with high social popularity, great influence and Chenzhou characteristics, further develop the features and highlights of "three rural" development in Chenzhou, show the construction achievements of Chenzhou's tourist destinations, and accelerate the development and utilization of agricultural products and tourism resources to boost the economic development of Chenzhou. At the same time, Beihu District, Yongxing County, Guiyang County and Suxian District will show their regional charm on the "beautiful countryside stage" during the exhibition.

This expo was cosponsored by the Hunan Provincial Agriculture Commission and the Chenzhou Municipal People's government for a period of 5 days. The special theme activities, investment projects signing, China (Chenzhou) Tea Industry Summit Forum, my favorite "Top 10" selection awards, the beautiful countryside stage, award for exhibition agricultural products and other theme activities will be held during the exhibition.
