It was reported the propaganda coordination conference of 5th CMGS was held in Changsha City recently. Kong Heping who is the Deputy Director of Hunan Provincial Propaganda Department and Director of Press Office of Hunan Government, and Feng Haiyan who is the Member of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee and Director of Chenzhou Municipal Propaganda Department attended the conference. Some staffs from People’s Daily, Xinhua Agency, Guangming Daily, and other media and principals from relative departments were present at the conference.

The 5th CMGS was undertaken by Hunan Land and Resources Office and Chenzhou Government. Followed the principal of “gathering global resources, creating international brand, expanding communication and cooperation, and popularizing scientific culture” and the theme of “amazing crystal mineral, colorful fluorite”, the CMGS show will be held in Chenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center from May 18-22, 2017.

According to the arrangement, special column should be opened on Hunan provincial and relative municipal media; some propaganda films should be broadcasted there from the previous stage to the post-show stage; and some new media should be applied to popularize the show.

Kong Heping stated that special attention should be paid on the show and some elites should be dispatched to handle the reporting of the show, which was aimed to popularize the exhibition brand. In the meantime, better planning should be figured out to improve the reporting work and grant a sound propagandizing atmosphere of the show. More innovative methods should be applied to improve the propagandizing. Closer cooperation should be reached with some central media to upgrade the influence of the show.

Feng Haiyan summarized the great achievements gained by 4th CMGS and presented introduction of the 5th CMGS. She sincerely appreciated the support of the media and delivered warm invitations to them to attend the show on behalf of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou Government. Feng stated that the 5th CMGS would be opened soon in Chenzhou City, so she hoped Hunan Provincial Propaganda Department can enhance the conduction and coordination of the propaganda work and hoped central and Hunan provincial media can handle more comprehensive advertisement of the show. Better working mechanism would be formed in Chenzhou City as well to provide better communication service and reporting condition for the media.

The principals of central and Hunan provincial media expressed their promises on supporting the propaganda of 5th CMGS and presented some treasurable suggestions to improve the propaganda work as well.
