Liu Zhiren – Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City investigated the 2nd phase of Chenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center recently. As Liu required it should be followed the high level design and “micro construction” concept and should be improved as powerful support for Chenzhou City’s construction of top level international exhibition center.

It was introduced that the 2nd phase of the exhibition city was located in the east of the 1st phase. It includes conference center and mineral gem trade center, consisting canteen, conference center, customs zone, banking zone, and other functional zones. Once finished, it would help to provide more sufficient supporting service for the 1st phase which was placed to operation for years.

On the scheduling conference, Liu listened to the introduction of the design solution of 2nd phase of Chenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center which was delivered by experts from Hunan Construction Design Institute.

Liu stated that Chenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center is the main hall of the exclusive international mineral gem show of Hunan Province. It is the “name card” of Hunan exhibition industry as well as the “city lounge” of Chenzhou City. It is also significant for improving the development of series exhibitions and promoting the development of exhibition economy of Chenzhou City. All the designs should be figured out with high level standards and followed the concept of “micro construction” and landscape ecological city, which was purposely to provide strong support for Chenzhou City’s construction of top level international exhibition center.

Liu Zhiren studied all the aspects of the plan. He emphasized that the concept of landscape ecological city should be highlighted on the design of 2nd phase. The color should match the 1st phase and coordinate with natural ecology. The integrated layout, interior layout, and transportation layout should be further optimized to provide the 2nd phase with convenient and high efficient facilities and transportation condition. About the function design, more advance experience should be applied to improve its operation functions in future. More reasonable and convenient services on the consideration of humanization should be applied as well. The construction of conference center and mineral gem trade center should be promoted comprehensively on the basis of scientific construction solution. The monitoring of investment should be further restricted. The project should be started substantially at the end of this year.
