GDP up 12.7% while fiscal revenue hit 4.7 billion
Chenzhou's total output value in the first quarter of this year rose by 12.7% and hit 29.2 billion yuan, all of which was disclosed by Chenzhou Statistical Bureau on April 24, 2012.
The director of Statistical Bureau said, though we faced a slowdown situation in the national economy, drove by the "one industrialization, two cities, three initiates, four great projects", Chenzhou still kept stable improvement of economy and achieved a good beginning of making progress on the basis of stability.
According to the data, three industries have overall growth, among which agriculture and service industry increased stably, while scale industry amounted to 16.13 billion yuan, up 20.1%.
The strong demand growth attributed to the stable increase of Chenzhou economy. In the first quarter, Chenzhou placed 1301 investment projects with the increase of 249, fulfilled the fixed capital investment of 13.58 billion with the growth rate of 44.8%, up 9%. Social total volume of retail sales amounted to 12.06 billion, up 16.1% and 0.6% higher than the provincial level and the total international import & export value reached 295 million dollars.
Key elements also gave great support to the economy growth. It was learned from the data, Chenzhou accomplished sorts of financing with 5.15 billion yuan, among which there were loans of 3.39 billion yuan, and standard workshops with 0.66 million square meters, which help to introduce 68 new transfer enterprises. Besides, paid-in foreign investment capital amounted to 0.181 billion dollars with 18.2% growth rate while domestic capital reached 7.89 billion yuan, up 30.7%.
It is worth mentioning that though the major economic indicators have decelerating growth compared with that of the last quarter, fiscal revenue and income for urban & rural citizen still increased fast. It can be seen from the data, in the first quarter, Chenzhou fiscal revenue hit 4.7 billion yuan, up 26.1%; urban per capita disposable income was 5287 yuan while per capita cash income of rural residents was 1828, up 20.5%.
