Major and important events to be completed in the year:
1. Eliminate compulsory education, large class in senior high school and general high school education. In 2020, it is necessary to eliminate 133 super large classes in ordinary senior high schools with more than 66 students and 168 large classes in ordinary high schools with more than 56 students. The proportion of large classes should be controlled within 15 percent.
2.We will promote the special governance of supporting kindergartens in urban communities. According to the spirit of the superior documents, by 2020, the gross enrollment rate in the first three years of Guiyang County will reach 85 percent, the coverage rate of inclusive kindergartens will reach 80 percent, and the proportion of children in public kindergartens will reach 50 percent. Each township will ensure that there is a central kindergarten. In 2020, by solidly promoting the special governance of supporting kindergartens in urban areas, and vigorously increasing the degree supply of public and inclusive kindergartens, public kindergartens will account for more than 50 percent of kindergarten children.
3.Improve the quality of education in an all-round way. We should fully implement all kinds of education documents, focus on the fundamental task of building morality and cultivating people, highlight the key points of teachers, strengthen the routine management of education and teaching and scientific research, establish and improve the monitoring, evaluation and incentive mechanism of education and teaching quality, promote the establishment of a scientific concept of education quality, release the vitality of "teaching" and "learning", and strive to make the county's education and teaching quality reach the city's average level in 2020.
4.Make every effort to promote the key educational construction projects. In 2020, we will continue to promote key education projects, increase 8940 compulsory education degrees and 6000 ordinary high school degrees; will encourage and support social forces to run schools, do a good job in the construction of private Zhanhui Schools, Mingjun Schools and Zilong Schools, and supplement 11000 private degrees. On this basis, it will invest 330 million yuan to start key education projects, which can add 6800 compulsory education degrees, 2750 ordinary high school degrees and 3660 secondary vocational degrees.
5.We will spare no effort to do a good job in poverty alleviation through education, and help to achieve the poverty alleviation goal of the whole county in 2020.
