On July 2, the reporter learned from the on-the-spot meeting of school construction in Chenzhou City that Chenzhou City will focus on promoting the balanced development of compulsory education, the popularization and development of preschool education, the characteristic development of ordinary high schools and the accelerated development of vocational education, so as to accelerate the construction of school projects to a new level.

During the 12th Five Year Plan period, Chenzhou City focused on the construction of school projects to lay a solid foundation for education. 625.22 million yuan was invested to implement 29 urban compulsory education expansion projects, with 31540 new degrees; 1401.78 million yuan was invested in the reconstruction of 3600 weak rural schools; 11 counties and urban areas were established as experimental counties of modern educational technology in Hunan Province, and 235 schools were established as municipal standardization laboratory school.

In the next stage, Chenzhou City will grasp the key points of the work, take the initiative to take the initiative, pay close attention to the expansion of urban education, strengthen the construction of standardized schools, speed up the pace of the creation of qualified primary schools in combination with the second round of the three-year action plan for the transformation of primary schools, so as to ensure that all schools will be established as qualified schools by the end of 2020; vigorously implement the transformation of junior high school buildings, school building safety projects, rural teachers' turnover dormitories, etc, to ensure that 110 rural junior high school buildings and 12451 sets of rural teachers' dormitory construction will be completed by the end of 2020; the construction of township and street public kindergartens will be completed by the end of 2020, and 138 public kindergartens will be completed by the end of 2020, so as to ensure that there is one public kindergarten in each township and three public kindergartens in the county; and the construction of training places in vocational schools should be strengthened to ensure that all vocational schools in the city must complete the construction of vocational education training buildings by the end of 2020.
