In order to ensure the smooth progress of rural drinking water safety project in Chenzhou City, various departments at all levels in Chenzhou City raised funds from various parties. The urban-rural integrated water supply project of Mangshan Reservoir in Yizhang County has been included in the local government bond support project; Rucheng County has successfully raised more than 200 million yuan to complete the first phase of urban-rural water supply integration project through PPP mode; Zixing City and Yongxing County have successively launched the construction of regional centralized water supply projects such as Banlong reservoir water supply project, Yangdong reservoir water supply project, Bolin Taihe water supply project and so on through the loan funds of ADB, CDB and other policy banks.
As of the end of November, the total investment of rural drinking water safety project in Chenzhou City has reached 74.6 million yuan, including 32.44 million yuan from central province, 1.43 million yuan from municipal level, and 45.92 million yuan from county level integration fund and self raised by the masses.
The water conservancy department of Chenzhou City has insisted on ensuring the safety of drinking water in rural areas as the bottom line task of poverty alleviation. It has focused on four poverty-stricken counties, coordinated the other seven non-poverty-stricken counties (cities and districts), made every effort to promote the integration of urban and rural water supply and the standardization of rural water supply.
