Recently, the Municipal Water Conservancy Bureau issued a dispatch notice on the water conservancy construction in winter and spring in the whole city. The total investment of 74.6 million yuan has been completed in the consolidation and improvement of rural drinking water safety, and the drinking water safety problems of the poor population have been effectively solved.

It was reported that in this winter and next spring, the total investment in water conservancy construction in the whole city was 1.048 billion yuan, including 557 million yuan from central and provincial governments and 292 million yuan from cities and counties. The construction scale of Yizhang County, Guiyang County, Jiahe County, Linwu County and Zixing City exceeded 100 million yuan. 135 projects are planned to be implemented, mainly including 6 major water conservancy projects for water-saving and water supply, consolidation and improvement of rural drinking water safety, supporting transformation of irrigation and drainage key projects, weak links of flood control, and river lake ecological engineering. Up to now, 119 water conservancy projects have been started in this winter and next spring, 38 projects have been completed and 16 projects have not been started. The overall image progress is 66 percent. Among them, the total investment of 74.6 million yuan has been completed in the consolidation and improvement of rural drinking water safety, 114,000 rural people have benefited from it, and the drinking water safety problems of poor people who have established files and registered cards have been effectively solved.
