An indicator light for reversible lane was facilitated in Yanquan road, saying “go straight” to Wuling Square

It was learned that some indicator lights were facilitated on the crosses in Chenzhou city. But because lacking of the information, few drivers dared to follow the information shown on the indicators to drive.

As introduced by Zhang Yongzhong- Director of Technology Department of Chenzhou Traffic Police Detachment, there were two indicators available in Chenzhou city, one was “go straight” and the other was “left turn” which were indicating the driving direction of the lane. Once the straight light on, drivers can drive straight but the cars which need to turn left can’t be driven to this lane. Once the left turn light on, drivers can turn left but cars which need to go straight can’t be driven to this lane.

These reversible lane indicators were set for some fixed period, especially the peak time, not regular indicators. It was more convenient to the drivers to follow the information shown on the indicators.

It was introduced that there were 16 indicators for reversible lanes facilitated in Chenzhou city, which were mainly set in Guoqing road, Yanquan road and some other arterial roads. Of course, this new facilitation were kept perfecting in future.
