It was learned from Chenzhou Transportation Bureau that thanks to the comprehensive promotion of transportation construction projects, especially the Hunan provincial governed expressways projects, 1.14 billion yuan investment has been completed in Chenzhou city in first 5 months.

2014 is the most important year for Chenzhou city’s “three-year transportation construction project”, so Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou Government kept placing much attention on it. Though faced with the long-term rainy season, lacking of efficient construction time and some other problems, relative departments paid more efforts to accelerate the transportation construction projects. Integrating with the educational practices of the Party’s mass line, some labor competitions, working competitions, centralized scheduling work, special management measures, and etc. were carried out by relative departments to promote the development of projects with better construction condition and quality control system.

Currently, Chishi Bridge of Xiarong expressway was under the construction of grider, the last stage construction work of Yanru expressway was accelerated well, public bidding of Guixin expressway was finished, and the engineering feasibility report for Linlian expressway has been completed. 15 continuous construction projects for arterial highways, covering 268kms, were on the process of road surface and bridge engineering construction. 16 projects for the newly increased highways on the medium term of “twelfth five-year plan”, covering 334kms has worked out the engineering feasibility reports. 8 of the 16 ones have been past the approval of reports and 4 of them has been finished the public bidding work. 68kms of the village roads which were processed to the road surface construction have been finished yet. 2011kms road greening work has been completed as well, covering 116% of the annual task.

Now the weather became better for construction, so followed with the requirements of “service month for key projects”, all relative departments would pay great attention on the promotion of the preliminary work for Guixin expressway and some other key projects and on solving some problems hindered on the way for further promotion of the construction.
