It was learned from Chenzhou Xi station- high speed train station of Chenzhou city that the high speed train from Nanchang to Changsha which was a part of Shanghai to Kunming high speed train would be placed to operation on September 16, 2014. Once opened, it just takes 2 hours and 46 minutes from Chenzhou to Nanchang, which is about 5 hours less than ordinary train.

It was introduced that two pairs of “D” trains and 11 pairs of “G” trains would be placed to operation at the first stage. G634, G638, G637, G631 and G633 would stop at Chenzhou Xi station. Concerned for the price, the commercial class is 974.5yuan/person, first class is 507yuan and second class is 308.5yuan. Now it is ok to book the tickets of these trains.
