Cooperation memorandum signed between Changsha Customs and Chenzhou municipal government

It was learned that a cooperation memorandum was signed between Changsha Customs and Chenzhou municipal government on December 18, 2012. That was a new memorandum of cooperation agreement reached between Chenzhou municipal government and Hunan provincial departments, which marked the stronger support granted by Hunan provincial government towards Chenzhou opening economy development. The first one was signed in this September with Hunan Commerce Ministry. Li Wenjian- Secretary of Party Group of Changsha Customs and Chief of Changsha Customs, Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee, and Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City were present at the signing ceremony.

According to the memorandum, Changsha Customs will vigorously support the construction of Chenzhou railway port, electronic port, international logistic center of Chenzhou port, Chenzhou land route port, etc. to optimize the supervision and service of Chenzhou Customs and accelerate its working efficiency. Meanwhile, Changsha Customs will play its advantageous role on tax supervision to support the construction of second phase of Chenzhou export processing park, upgrading of national comprehensive bonded zone and improvement of demonstration construction of Chenzhou undertaking industrial transfer to promote the bonded logistic and processing development of Chenzhou city. Furthermore, Changsha Customs will pay more attention to the support of Chenzhou non-ferrous fine processing, electronic information, fine mechanics, new material, agricultural production and other special industries to boost the key project construction, adjust economical structures of Chenzhou and upgrade its opening economy development quality and efficiency.

Li stated that “Changsha Customs will try to improve Chenzhou office of Changsha Customs to be Chenzhou Customs in order to provide q stronger support for Chenzhou scientific development.”

Qu Hai said with the support of some favorable policies issued to Chenzhou city and good cooperation between Changsha Customs and Chenzhou government, the targets set by both parties can be fulfilled at the soonest time.

Authorized by Changsha customs and Chenzhou government, Xiong Songhai- member of Changsha Customs Party group and Li Ting- Deputy Mayor of Chenzhou City signed the memorandum cooperation. Some Chenzhou municipal leaders attended the signing ceremony as well.
