It was learned from Guiyang flue-cured tobacco working conference that Guiyang County will try their best to purchase about 0.75 million loads of tobacco leaves with tax of 175 million yuan in 60 days from August 10 to October 10, 2012.

Required by “notice of 2012 tobacco leaves purchase pricing policy from Tobacco Monopoly Bureau of National Development and Revolution Committee”, the tobacco purchase price should be increased by 20% with the national purchase price policy and quality standard to guarantee tobacco growers’ profits. As for the subsidy policy, it will be followed the way that 1.38 yuan/500g should be subsidized for the first and medium level tobacco leaves while no subsidy for the low level; 400 yuan/mu, 600 yuan/mu, 100 yuan/mu compensation should be paid separately by insurance company, provincial tobacco company, and municipal & county governments for the tobacco growers who faced complete crop failure by natural disaster; donation capital from tobacco industry companies should be strived positively to minimize the loss for tobacco grower in the year of disasters 

It was learned that Guiyang County would follow the principal of “standardized, equal, sunshine, and credit purchasing” to carry out the purchase work and follow the preset time schedule to finish the purchase task before October 10, 2012. Meanwhile, the quality control would be always put into the first place on the basis of tobacco grower’s profit.
