When reporters arrived at Liuhuawan, Sandu town, Zixing city, the green cole was filled into the lands. As it is introduced by the villagers, Liuhuawan is very famous for ancient folk houses. In order to promote its development, Zixing city government encouraged villagers to plant cole flowers in autumn and winter, so that more tourists can be attracted, enjoying the ancient houses together with the beautiful cole flowers next spring.

Zixing city is with a good habit for autumn and winter agricultural planting. The cole flower, tea, fruit garden are the most important planting elements, which are also the good agricultural tourism resources. It is the first year for the great development of Zixing tourism in 2012. In order to fully use the autumn and winter planting tourism resources and discover more potentiality in tourism, Zixing city decided to establish different kinds of production demonstration areas. Thousands of high yield demonstration areas of cole were established in Lijiang town. Leisure agriculture was entitled with “traveling around folk houses & enjoying cole flowers” was developed in Sandu town, which covers the Liuhuawan ancient folk houses areas and S322 provincial road sides with coles. Now, both the two projects have been fulfilled on the plantation of cole flowers. Meanwhile, 500mu tea gardens in Gudong village, Tangxi town, 200mu orange demonstration bases, and 200mu Dongjiang pear demonstration zones are under the preliminary preparation scheduling.
