Fan couldn’t help to stop expressing his feeling of winning the host right of 2013 China Rally Championship when took the interview by journalists.

A big event for development of different aspects of a city

Fan attended 2012 Annual Review & 2013 Arrangement Conference of China Auto and Motor Cycle Sport Association at the end of 2012 as a member of the standing committee of the association. On the conference, he was informed that a national level auto rally championship would be held in China in 2013. Fan was keenly aware of the active effects would be taken for the city where hosted the big event. Because many worldwide well-known racing drivers and teams would take part in this high level race, many fans, medias would be attracted to the city, which would promote the developments of the society, economy, tourism, culture and tertiary industry, etc. In recent years, Chenzhou tried best to the establishment of “City of Sports”. If this kind of event could be held in Chenzhou city, it would be a great chance for showing Chenzhou city’s charm. On the consideration of these points, Fan determined on the conference that he would try his best to help Chenzhou city to win the host right of this event.

Enthusiasm and persistence in winning the host right of 2013 China Rally Championship

Fan presented his report on applying the host right of 2013 China Rally Championship for Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou after he finished the conference. At that time, this championship was planned to be held in Gansu province. Some more cities as Shanghai, Chongqing, Nanjing, Guizhou, etc. were expressed their willing and submitted relative documents to the association to host this championship. Though under severe competition to win the host right, Fan and his team still fought actively by presenting many advantages of Chenzhou city to the principals of this event. With their great efforts of months, Chenzhou city was approved as the host place of 2013 China Rally Championship finally.

Determination and confidence on holding a great event

After winning the host right of the championship, Chenzhou government and the relative departments started their hardworking on the arrangement of championship issues. Auto racing was with high standard requirements for the race tracks for its very high speed, to make sure all the tracks can meet the racing demands, thousands people were dispatched to keep the repairmen and security work of the tracks. Many volunteers were recruited into the team to handle the championship matters. Fan expressed his confidence that with the efforts of Chenzhou government and all Chenzhou people, 2013 China Rally Championship would be finished successfully. At the meantime, the success on holding 2013 China Rally Championship would be a new name card for Chenzhou city’s further development.
