On the afternoon of June 11th, the Provincial Industrial Green Manufacturing Experience Exchange was held in Chenzhou City. Bi Junsheng, Deputy Director of Department of Energy Saving and Comprehensive Utilization, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and Liu Zhiren, Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor, attended the meeting and made the speeches.

In recent years, under the guidance of the socialist thought with Chinese characteristics in the new era of Xi Jinping, Chenzhou has deepened supply-side structural reforms, vigorously implemented the "four-year action plan" for industrial transformation and upgrading, and ecological Chenzhou construction, built green manufacturing system, sped up the promotion of green transformation and upgrading, run green design, green technique and technics, green production, green management and green supply chain throughout the manufacturing process, cultivated and strengthened the green manufacturing industry, and promoted green industrial developmentin accordance with the requirements of high-quality development,gradually showing the effect of green development.

Bi Junsheng said that the green development of industry is an inevitable requirement for the high-quality development of industry in the new era and we should accelerate the construction of the industrial system of green cycle and low-carbon development, and promote the formation of green development of production and life style.The green manufacturing is an effective measure to speed up the cultivation of green low-carbon new growth points, and we should accelerate the development of green manufacturing industry, speed up the construction of green manufacturing system and improve the supply capacity of green products according to the deployment and requirements of manufacturing power strategy; should focus on major national development strategies, speed up the green development of the Yangtze Economic Belt and other key regions, and promote regional energy efficiency and cleaner production level.

Liu Zhiren said in his speech that Chenzhou is speeding up the industry green low-carbon cycle development, focusing on cultivating strategic emerging industries, speeding up the construction of green manufacturing system, and striving to build the demonstration base for comprehensive utilization of industrial resources in China. Chenzhou will continue to build a good platform, formulate good policies, create a good environment, and develop and deepen the cooperation with leading enterprises and trade organizations at home and abroad with an enlightened attitude, an opening spirit and a pioneering spirit to promote the "green manufacturing" industry to a higher level.

At the meeting, the participants exchanged experiences about constructing green manufacturing system, accelerating green transformation and upgrading, cultivating and expanding green manufacturing industry and promoting green development of industry. The Provincial Economic and Information Technology Committee licensed to the first batch and second batch of national green manufacturing demonstration units, green factories and green parks.
