With the consent of the provincial government, five departments of the Provincial Housing Construction, Development and Reform, Finance, Land and Resources and Agriculture handed down the task of supportable housing project to all cities and states. This year, 286,000 sets of shantytown renovation housing will be reconstructed in the province, among them 8542 sets in Chenzhou City, a total area of about 710,000 square meters.

According to "Hunan Province Shantytown Reconstruction Project Table in 2018", Chenzhou involved a total of 36 projects, a total investment of more than 4.2 billion yuan.
