On July 15, 2017, the project and signing ceremony of Guangdong Smart Home Industry Park with total investment of 20 billion yuan was held in Guiyang County, attracting more than 120 enterprises from Guangdong Furniture Association and Dongguan, Zhongshan, Foshan and other furniture associations. 63 enterprises signed to enter the park on the same day with the signing amount of 9.8 billion yuan. The contract signing marked the Guangdong household industry chain transfer transformation project officially settled in Guiyang, which was a successful example of Hunan Province to accept the transfer of industrial chain investment, and was the first and only real industry chain investment in Chenzhou.

It was reported that the Guangdong Smart Home Industry Park project in Hunan Province will be listed as a major provincial project, with a construction period of five years and a planned area of 20,000 mu, the total investment of 20 billion yuan, which is the first the industrial agglomeration park with the household products production, trade, logistics, display and scientific research in one. It will gather more than 100 domestic enterprises, realize the annual output value of 30 billion yuan, and the annual tax revenue of 2 billion yuan, and arrange employment for more than 50,000 people to drive the coordinated development of county industry, modern service industry and real estate industry.

In order to speed up the construction of Guangdong Smart Home Industry Park in Hunan Province, the relevant departments in Guiyang County have formed a joint working group to speed up the construction of water, electricity, roads and other infrastructure facilities, and taken the door-to-door service, parallel examination and approval, and other measures to implement the project as soon as possible. At present, there are 103 enterprises signed the entry agreement, the signing fund of 16.5 billion yuan. Of these, 83 projects have been selected for project use and 18 projects have started construction.
