Recently, the responsible person from Hunan Gos Group Calcium Carbonate Industry Development co.,Ltd. said that the company planned to take five years to build Shuidong Town, Linwu County, into a calcium carbonate industrial town and a special tourist town.

Linwu County has large reserves of calcium carbonate with excellent quality. It has more than 1 billion tons of marble total reserves, with more than 97% of calcium carbonate content, which is an ideal raw material for processing nanometer calcium carbonate.

In 2017, Linwu County listed calcium carbonate industry as one of the six pillar industries, established the calcium carbonate industry development headquarters, and organized personnel to visit Guangxi Hezhou, Guangdong Lianzhou, Zhaoqing, Jiangmen and other places to investigate the development of calcium carbonate industry many times.

In September 2017, Linwu County and Shenzhen Gos Group Venture Investment signed an investment cooperation agreement on the development of calcium carbonate industry. It planned to invest 5 billion yuan in five years to build a "one park and three zones", namely, the calcium carbonate industrial park and the resource mining zone, deep processing zone and related industrial zone.

At the end of December 2017, Gos Group founded Hunan Gos Group Calcium Carbonate Industry Development Co., Ltd in Linwu County, and signed an annual production of 1 million tons of calcium carbonate deep processing project with Yizhang Yuxi Stone Grain Group.

At the beginning of 2018, Linwu County formulated a five-year plan of action for the development of calcium carbonate industry, put forward the development goal, started with mid-high-end products, produced new nano-scale materials and other products with new technologies, new processes and advanced equipment, established national or provincial R & D platform and high-tech enterprises, and created a regional calcium carbonate processing and production base.

At present, Linwu County has completed the overall planning of calcium carbonate industrial park, the park survey and other work, and the construction of infrastructure such as "Seven connections and one leveling" in the first phase is speeding up.

In addition, the first phase of calcium carbonate deep processing project, invested 60 million yuan in the construction began to build 2 production lines with an annual production capacity of 700,000 tons in March this year, and will put them into production in September this year, with an estimated annual output value of 1 billion yuan and the profits and taxes of 150 million yuan.
