Dai Daojin and Xiang Lili addressed important speeches on the conference

It was reported a scheduling conference for the construction of Longnv hot spring scenic spot was held in Chenzhou city on May 13, 2011. It was required that all departments should unify the ideas to figure out high level plan to construct Longnv hot spring scenic spot and promote its establishment of 4A national scenic spot. Dai Daojin-Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Xiang Lili- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City attended the conference and addressed important speeches on the conference.

Longnv hot spring scenic spot was developed from 2005 with series projects as Longnv hot spring, diving center, Longnv temple, Blessing square, Blessing tripod, etc. Along with years improvement, Longnv hot spring scenic spot has been upgraded to be a comprehensive tourism leisure resort with the function of leisure, entertainment, conference, swimming, fitness, etc. It was planned to enhance its management and upgrade it to be national 4A scenic spot in 2011. 2011 China (Chenzhou) “city in the forest, leisure city” International Tourism and Culture Festival would be held in this scenic spot in October.

Dai Daojin stated that all departments should unify the idea to carry out the establishment work. Though Chenzhou city is with abundant superior tourism resources, most of them are with low level. If lacking of attractive tourism name card, it is hard to establish “city in the forest, leisure city”. Feitian mountain, Wugai mountain, Suxianling, Wangxianling, Longnv hot spring and some other superior tourism resources should be integrated well to be improved as the beautiful scenice spots to attract more tourists to come to Chenzhou city.

Dai Daojin emphasized that the upgrading project of Longnv hot spring scenic spot should be followed with comprehensive plan and high-end design. It is useless to improve tourism industry without high-quality tourism project. Now the key problems hindered on Chenzhou city’s tourism development are its poor brand, plan, tourism product packing, and marketing. So Longnv hot spring, Feitian mountain and some other scenic spots should be developed on the basis of scientific positioning to be improved with their unique features and levels. 

Xiang Lili stated that Longnv hot spring scenic spot should be promoted with high level plan and construction and should be upgraded as a national 4A scenic spot with comprehensive functions. Due to some restrictions, Longnv hot spring was not developed well though it was the rare tourism resource in Chenzhou urban area. Followed with this upgrading project, Longnv hot spring scenic spot should be upgraded greatly with specified plan. It was required that all infrastructure facilities projects should be finished at the end of this September. 

Xiang also asked that the management level of Longnv hot spring scenic spot should be upgraded as well. A management committee should be formed to handle the management and marketing of the landscape. Some more favorable policies should be issued to the scenic spot by relative departments and Beihu district to grant the construction project with “green channel” and ensure it to be fulfilled on time.
