It was reported that Rucheng Foreign Affairs Bureau organized a special team to attend “Hunan high-speed railway tourism products promotion conference”in Shenzhen city recently. Rucheng county focused on the promotion of its famous Rucheng hot spring on the conference to accelerate its tourism development.

Rucheng hot spring is famous as “the first hot spring in south China” which is a natural hot spring with the highest temperature, largest water flow, best water quality and widest hot land area. Its normal water temperature is about 91.5℃, while the highest level can be 98℃. This transparent, low mineralization, low hardness and alkalescence hot spring water was full of more than 30 micro-elements which are healthy for people, especially for radon element which is about 433% higher than international standard level. A 4A landscape- Fuquan Villa was constructed on the basis of the abundant geothermal resources in Reshui town, Rucheng county, where is a perfect spa resort.

In order to further promote its tourism industry development, Rucheng county paid great efforts in forging its hot spring tourism brand with its unique hot spring resources. Along with the seamless joint of Jingguang high-speed railway and Guangshen high-speed railway, Rucheng county took active actions on the tourism promotion with the cities along the railways. It attended “Hunan high-speed railway tourism products promotion conference” in Shijiazhuang, Beijing and Shenzhen in 2013 and promoted its special tourism products and lines on the conferences accordingly. Seven chapters as “Dongting water, Yueyang tower”, “city in the forest, leisure city”, and etc. were presented on the promotion conference separately to introduce the tourism resources of Chenzhou city and other cities along the high-speed railway. Three fine tourism lines as “happy Hunan food trip”, “happy hot spring trip” and “happy south Hunan water and mountain trip” were confirmed on the conference, all of which were concerned with Chenzhou city’s tourism resources. Chenzhou city’s “one mountain (Mangshan mountain), one water (Dongjiang lake) and one spring (Rucheng hot spring)” were fully presented and promoted on the conference.
