"Catching the Spring Equinox Festival" which was included in the intangible cultural heritage list of the United Nations, is the ancient festival of Anren people spreading for thousands of years to commemorate the Sheng Nong' great success of "tasting herbs to cure, teaching farming". On the evening of March 19, Anren masses put River Lanterns in the "Shennong Square" next to the Yongle River to pray for good weather, bumper grain harvest, peace and prosperity.

At 8 o'clock in the evening, the masses lit candles on the waterfront in the rain, set off firecrackers, held the lotus lanterns, made the wishes, and put the lanterns into the river. Thousands of lanterns slowly flowed away with wishes, forming a beautiful landscape.
