Standing Committee of CPPCC Inspects & Negotiates Construction of Key Projects

On July 28, Li Ping, Secretary of the Party Group and chairman of the CPPCC municipal committee, led some CPPCC members to Chenzhou High-tech Zone and Suxian District to carry out special inspection and consultation activities on the construction of key projects in the city, and held a consultation forum. Liang Chenggu, member of the Standing Committee and Vice Mayor of the municipal Party committee, Wang Dong and Chen Fangmin, Vice Chairmen of the municipal CPPCC, Li liming, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of Chenzhou High-tech Zone, Wen Jianjun, Deputy Secretary of Suxian District Party committee, Li mingxiong, Chairman of the District CPPCC, and Xiao Liang, Deputy District Governor, attended the event.

 

Li Ping and his party came to Hunan Chenzhou Zhengwei new materials science and technology city project, Cisco (Chenzhou) Vocational Education City and public supporting facilities construction project to learn about the project construction.

 

At the consultation forum, the members listened to the report on the progress of the project and held a heated discussion. The committee members fully affirmed the progress of the project and put forward opinions and suggestions on the existing problems and difficulties. Li Ping pointed out that we should do a good job in Zhengwei New Materials and Cisco Vocational Education City project to achieve the expected goal; should include the examination and approval of higher vocational (junior college) majors in the "14th Five-year Plan", report to the Provincial Department of Education and the provincial government as soon as possible, and strive for early approval; should work with the Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources and Planning to complete the land adjustment and approval of main buildings as soon as possible, and strive for early listing and early action to ensure the smooth progress of the project. The investors and the district government should strengthen communication and timely discuss and solve relevant problems.
