It was reported that Ye Hailun- Director of Hunan Liaison Office of Wuhan Economic and Trade Office of HKSAR Government led a 5-member investigation team to visit Chenzhou City recently. The team investigated the economic and social development of Chenzhou City and current situation of some HK enterprises.

On the symposium, the team listened to the report concerned for Chenzhou City’s economic operation and its “13th five-year plan”. They learned the investment attraction, foreign trade, investment and project improvement, and other details of Chenzhou City, as well as policies, investment chances, and development situation favored by HK investors there.

The investigation team was visiting Delta Company

Currently, there are 88 HK enterprises available in Chenzhou City, accounting for 71% of the foreign investors in Chenzhou City. USD1.8 billion investments have been placed by the HK enterprises in Chenzhou City, and total capitals have been amounted to 13.9billion yuan. According to the statistics, the operating revenue of HK enterprises hit 6billion yuan, contributing 584million yuan tax payments. The total profits were amounted to 1.24billion yuan. 15,000 local people were employed by the enterprises.

The investigation team was visiting Amer Company

After listening to the reports, the team visited Chenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center, Jingui Silver, Amer International Minerals Exchange Center, Hunan Guosheng Graphite Technology Co., Ltd., Daomu Technology Co., Ltd., Delta Electronics Co., and the World’s Non-ferrous Metals Museum.

The investigation team highly affirmed the achievements reached by Chenzhou City on economic and social development. As stated by the members, they were taught more details of Chenzhou City’s culture, opening up, ecological protection, rare and precious metals, electronic products, key projects, and etc. The members promised to invite more high level government officials of HKSAR and leaders of HK Liaison Office to visit Chenzhou City by playing the best advantages of

Hunan Liaison Office, and try best to attract more investors to place investments there.
