It was reported that Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City met some entrepreneurs and scholars from Chenzhou City but work in Shanghai City. Qu highly appreciated their supports on improving the development of hometown and sincerely hope they can keep contributing more there.

Currently, there are over 300 members registered in Chenzhou Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai City, most of whom are in finance, technology, information, commerce, commerce, and some other high-end industries. On the meeting, Qu Hai expressed the spirit of 11th Hunan Provincial Party’s Congress. Qu stated that the expectation, direction, strategy, key points, and measures for the following 5 years were confirmed on the congress. Chenzhou City will fully implement the spirit of the congress, improve the construction of “New Chenzhou” and establishment of “new increasing pole of Hunan Province”, and promote the development of well-off society. The key points concerned for all the improvement is implementing the strategy of “leading by innovation, rising up by opening up”, and docking with the polity of “one belt, one road”, coordination development of Beijing-Tianjin- Hebei Province, and Yangtze River Economic Belt. Chenzhou City will keep improving the opening up and promote closer cooperation with the Pearl River Delta and Yangtze River Delta areas.

Qu Hai stated that Shanghai is an international centre of economy, finance, trading and innovation, as well as the pilot of reform and opening up and innovative development. More chances are available for Chenzhou and Shanghai after the operation of Shanghai-Kunming High-speed Train and the launching of construction of Beihu Airport. Chenzhou City will enhance the cooperation with Shanghai City and Yangtze Delta Area, especially on the regulation of order, improvement of administrative service, urban cultural improvement, infrastructure management, ecological protection, and etc. It will try best to grant better ecological, business, and administrative condition for clients.

As stated by the attendees, they will try best to contribute more to further development of the homeland.

Qu Hai was invited to attend the major forum of international health cities which was held on the World’s Health Promotion Conference in Shanghai City. More than one hundred mayors from the health cities of the world were invited to attend the forum. “Shanghai Consensus on Health City” was signed on the conference as well. Chenzhou city is one of the two cities from Hunan Province.
