From June 1 to 2, in the province's rural radio construction promotion meeting held in Youxian County Zhuzhou City, the person in charge of Jiahe Radio and TV station made an advanced typical speech on the rural radio construction on behalf of the county. It was understood that it was the only County Radio and TV station which participated and made a typical speech in our city.

It was reported that the Jiahe County seized the opportunity to be the first rural radio construction pilot county in 2012. After careful investigation and scientific proof, the County Party committee decided to invest more than 5 million yuan to fully implement the rural radio construction. 2242 sets of speakers and column loudspeakers were set up in 250 villages and the Jiahe radio station FM101.6 "sound of Jiahe" was put into use in November of that year, basically realizing the full coverage of villages. In recent years of operation, the departments at all levels attached great importance to the rural radio work, insisted on the management and construction, put the radio construction project into the county emergency management system, adhere to the service for "Three Rural Issues", and actively respond to the concerns of the masses, to provide quality information service for the masses and get the good comment from the cadres and the masses.

At the same time, the county made the best use of the situation, actively guided and encouraged the towns and villages to promote the construction of radio rooms. At present, the rural radio has the venue, system, and special management in more than 95% villages of this county and realizes the full coverage of the county and 365 days of uninterrupted broadcast. Since the operation, the rural radio construction project has serviced for the "three rural issues", set up column to broadcast the service information of "three rural issues", issued a variety of early warning information more than 50 times every year, commanded the Spring Festival travel rush, spring production, animal epidemic prevention, forest-fire prevention, flood fighting and rescue, drought relief work, etc.
