Recently, it was learned from Linwu County that rural transportation service stations were facilitated in the whole county. It greatly helped to upgrade rural transportation condition. The traffic accidents rate decreased gradually in recent years. According to the record, there is no fatal traffic accident claiming three or more people’s lives happened in Linwu County in recent 10 years. Rural people benefit greatly from the rural transportation management work.

In recent years, great framework of rural transportation management was gradually shaped in the county. Linwu County Party Committee and Linwu Government listed safety of rural transportation into significant agenda and the plan of economic and social development layout. Local government issued “comments on enhancing the transportation safety work” and other files, which helped to specify relative departments’ responsibilities and work concerned for the rural transportation safety. 

On the consideration of the poor rural road condition and weak safety awareness of rural people, Linwu County innovated the working mechanism and figured out the solution on improving the grassroots organization, which dealt with the blind points of rural transportation management effectively. All the 297 administrative villages followed the self-rule model to handle the maintenance and guidance of rural roads.

In the meantime, the governance of transportation order was listed as one of the key contents of “fighting for illegal behaviors”. Specified rewards and punishments solution was worked out, and the mechanism with popular supervision, fast reaction, and effective control was established there as well. From 2015, 12 special actions on fighting against the illegal behaviors of transportation were carried out by the county. It dealt with over 30 reports received from local people and 1300 illegal cases as well. Currently, the rural transportation condition was improved greatly in Linwu County, which grant a sound trend for further upgrading of local transportation.
