Currently, the 7th batch of national leading enterprises of agricultural industrialization was confirmed by eight ministries as the Ministry of Agriculture, the State Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance, and etc. According to the monitoring processes and evaluation results, 111 new enterprises were enrolled into the list, 7 of which are from Hunan Province. Anren Shengping Rice Industrial Co., Ltd. is one of the 7 ones. Till now, there are three national level agricultural leading companies available in Chenzhou City, including Shunhua Duck, Yuxiang Noodle, and Shengping Rice.

Anren Shengping Rice Industrial Co., Ltd. was established in 2006, mainly on the businesses of plantation, purchasing, warehousing, processing, and sales of high quality rice. It is a comprehensive private joint-stock modern agriculture enterprise with import and export qualification. In recent years, it placed about 60million yuan on facilitating it with the most advanced devices and engineering processes of China, and establishing two production lines with the processing capacities of 80,000tons of rice and one production line with the capacity of 500tons of rice bran oil.

In order to improve the quality of rice, the company followed the strategy of technological innovation to enhance the cooperation with universities and some scientific institutions. 8 species of high quality rice were selected from Guangdong, Guangxi, and other provinces for trial plantation and demonstration promotion. It also played the best advantages of Yuan Longping Academician Station which was settled down there to establish the cultivation base of high quality rice. In 2016, the annual output value of the company may hit 230million yuan.
