It was learned from Chenzhou Reform and Development Committee that the added value of non-public economy covered 80% of Chenzhou industries as industry, transportation & warehousing, post, wholesale & retail, accommodation & catering, and real estate. Non-public economy has been improved to be the main entity and significant power of above industries.
In recent years, Chenzhou City encouraged, supported and guided the sound development of non-public economy, which helped to improve its stable development. In 2016, the added value of non-public economy hit 155.03billion yuan, up 9.7%, accounting for 70.8% of GDP, up 0.6% which was 10.8% higher than Hunan provincial average level, and ranking the top place of Hunan Province. The added value of non-public economy of the secondary industry was amounted to 101.54billion yuan, accounting for 87.6%.
Currently, besides general processing and manufacturing industry, real estate, and some other traditional fields, there are more non-public economy are available in infrastructure, strategic and emerging industry, high-tech industry, modern service, and etc. In the meantime, the market entities of non-public economy were being expanded and its industrial structure was being kept optimizing. Till the end of 2016, 18,200 market entities were registered in Chenzhou City, covering 230.3billion yuan registered capitals. The non-public economy factors were accounted for 97% and 75% respectively. 7 non-public enterprises as Jingui Silver, Yuteng Non-Ferrous, and etc. were enrolled into the list of 2016 “Top 100 Private Companies of Hunan Province”. Jingui Silver and Gospel were listed to market. Xiongfeng Non-Ferrous, Fengyue Non-Ferrous and some other companies raised funds from capital market.
In 2016, 165.81billion yuan investments were placed by non-public economy on fixed assets, accounting for 71.2%. The percentages of non-public economy in three industries were 4:65.5:30.5. Compared with previous year, it was 2.4% higher than the percentage of tertiary industry, which indicated that the industrial structure was customized. Many non-public enterprises of Chenzhou City are labor-intensive companies, which helped to provide many job vacancies for local labor forces.
