In recent years, Linwu County has adhered to the strategy of "Industry leading, all-round development", and changed from relying mainly on government investment to relying mainly on market investment, attracting investment and supporting industries. The county has accurately docked "Inland China", and successively introduced a large number of industrial projects, such as Beijing Longhai Yimeng Group, Suzhou Golden Mantis, Dongguan JoySun New Energy and so on. At the same time, the county has further optimized the development environment and deepened the reform of "streamline administration and delegate powers" and "one-off completion" to compress the time limit for examination and approval by more than 60%; signed investment integration service agreement with Industrial & Commercial Bank of China, setting up Hengyuan Green Industry Investment Fund with a scale of 3 billion Yuan.

In order to promote the construction of key industrial projects, the county has implemented the "four guarantees" responsibility system, that is, the project directors, the leading responsible units and the service units should undertook the project formalities, the land requisition and removal, the mediation of disputes and the progress of construction, which requires responsible units and service units to strictly implement the project issue list system, assignment system, commitment system, account management system, zero clearing system and other "one list five systems", and form a joint supervision group to carry out supervision for the key industrial project construction in accordance with the requirements of "supervision quarterly, reporting monthly".

According to reports, Linwu County plans to implement 64 industrial projects, with total investment of 26.8 billion yuan and the annual planned investment of 7.27 billion yuan this year. Among them, the investment of main market will be 6.02 billion yuan, the proportion of more than 80%. As of the first ten days of June, 58 of 64 key industrial projects had opened (or resumed), with a rate of 90.6%.
