Chenzhou City has focused on tungsten, molybdenum, bismuth, lead zinc, silver, tin and other non-ferrous metal varieties, cultivated 3-5 comprehensive leading enterprises with strong competitiveness, integrating exploration, mining, smelting and processing trade, and built Chenzhou into a national non-ferrous metal deep processing base. By 2020, the total output value of the city's non-ferrous metal industry will exceed 130 billion yuan, with an average annual growth of more than 15 percent, and the total profit and tax will reach 8 billion yuan; by 2025, the total output value of the city's non-ferrous metal industry will exceed 200 billion yuan, with an average annual growth of more than 10 percent, and the total profit and tax will reach 15 billion yuan.

Key development industrial chains:

Tungsten molybdenum industry chain. Chenzhou City has focused on the development of high-purity and high-performance tungsten, molybdenum alloy tubes, rods, wires, wire products and tools, tungsten molybdenum containing catalysts, tungsten molybdenum targets, special steel, etc.; supported local enterprises such as Diamond Tungsten, Zhongxiang Tungsten Industry, etc., actively introduced core technologies of state-owned large and medium-sized enterprises such as China Minmetals, and built a tungsten intensive processing chain from scheelite processing and smelting technology, APT manufacturing process, blue tungsten and yellow tungsten manufacturing process, manufacturing process of tungsten carbide powder, to the manufacturing of cemented carbide tools and equipment.

Bismuth industry chain. Chenzhou City has focused on the development of bismuth pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, bismuth superconducting materials, bismuth compounds, nano bismuth titanate, etc.; supported leading enterprises such as Jinwang Bismuth Industry, and built a bismuth deep processing industry chain that contains bismuth concentrate smelting, refined bismuth purification, bismuth oxide, bismuth alloy, bismuth compound and other finished products.

Lead zinc industry chain. Chenzhou City has focused on the development of new corrosion-resistant lead alloy, high-strength superplastic zinc alloy, high-strength heat-resistant zinc matrix composite and other alloy products with high added value, forming the industrial chain from lead-zinc resources to lead-zinc intensive processing products; supported Yuteng nonferrous and other key enterprises to build the industrial chain of lead, zinc and other raw materials → lead and zinc high-purity metals → alloy compounds → lead carbon energy storage materials.

Silver industry chain. Chenzhou City has developed high-end silver crafts, electronic silver paste, high-purity silver nitrate, precious metals, silver catalytic nano materials, silver loaded antibacterial materials and so on, relying on the high-tech industrial base for recycling rare and precious metals in Yongxing, the "Silver Capital of China"; supported key enterprises such as Jingui Silver Industry to build a deep processing industrial chain of silver smelting → high-purity silver products → nano electronic silver powder and silver slurry preparation.

Main supporting tasks:

First, accelerate the adjustment of the layout of non-ferrous metal industry. Chenzhou City plans to form a non-ferrous metal industrial layout with Chenzhou City as the center, Guiyang, Yongxing and Zixing as the support, which is compatible with Chenzhou's regional economic development and coordinated with the city's industrial strategic layout.

Second, promote green development with circular economy. Through strict access, technological transformation and clean production, Chenzhou plans to establish an ecological industrial chain of non-ferrous metals, carry out ecological transformation of key non-ferrous metal enterprises and projects, build a circulation flow mode of "material flow and energy flow" within the enterprise, between upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain and between their side related enterprises, reduce industrial energy consumption, water consumption and land consumption, and reduce industrial energy consumption, water consumption and land consumption, and reduce waste and pollution emissions.

Third, accelerate the construction of new non-ferrous material industrial base represented by Chenzhou High-tech Zone rare and precious metal deep processing industrial base, Yongxing national circular economy demonstration park and Guiyang Industrial Park non ferrous metal smelting and processing project area.
