The planned land area of the Chenzhou International Mineral Gem Cultural & Creative Industrial Park is about 2000 mu. It is planned to introduce enterprises such as mineral crystal processing, inlay processing, jade processing, precious metal processing, warehousing and logistics.

In recent years, Chenzhou City, taking the opportunity of the permanent settlement of the CMGE in the local area, has carried out special investment attraction, introduced 29 state-owned enterprises such as China Minmetals and China Building Materials, and Zhengwei Group, a world top 500 enterprise with a complete non-ferrous metal industrial chain, and launched the construction of Chenzhou International Mineral Gem Cultural Industry Park, International Mineral Resource Trading Center, Chenzhou Stone Park, high-grade stone creative processing base and other projects.

Zhengwei Group and Chenzhou Municipal People's Government signed the investment framework agreement of Chenzhou Mineral Gem Industrial Park project. According to the agreement, Chenzhou Mineral Gem Industrial Park will initially build a Mineral Resource Trading Center Square, Mineral Crystal & Rare Stone Industrial Park, Precious Metal Deep Processing Industrial Park and Intelligent Jewelry Industrial Park, and plan to introduce more than 1000 gemstones and related enterprises to form an international gemstone completion industrial chain base.
 

The purpose of building Chenzhou International Mineral Gem Cultural & Creative Industrial Park is to expand the market of mineral gems and create a never ending mineral Expo. The Mineral Gem Industrial Park will implement the five in one of "politics, production, learning, research and trade", integrate the cluster development of "production, processing and trade", develop the global mineral resources, create an international industrial receiving and distributing base, cultivate and support core competitive enterprises, and lead the new pattern of industrial development.

Now, Chenzhou City has formed a mineral gem industry chain with mineral gems, gold and silver jewelry and handicrafts as the leading industry, arts and crafts, exhibition and Expo as the supporting industry. The mineral gem industry has become the first industry in Chenzhou that has exceeded 100 billion output value, with more than 300 related enterprises and more than 100000 employees.
