The site of promotion conference for the 3rd China (Hunan) International Mineral Gem Expo & Chenzhou gem industrial development in Shenzhen city

Shenzhen city is full of blooming flowers in March. A promotion conference for the 3rd China (Hunan) International Mineral Gem Expo (short for “the mineral expo”) & Chenzhou gem industrial development was successfully held in Shenzhen city. Some principals of Shenzhen Association of Industry and Commerce, Shenzhen Jewelry Industry Association and some jewelry companies attended the conference. Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee presented the introduction and promotion on the conference.

The third mineral expo would be held from March 21 to 25, 2015 in Chenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center. It was purposely to show the unique features of Chenzhou city – “non-ferrous metals museum of the world”and “the mineral crystal city of China” to all people worldwide by mixing city brand of Chenzhou city of “ornamental stone city of China and the mineral crystal city of China”with the platform of mineral expo which would be followed with the theme of “year of the city of mineral crystal”. Currently, some mineral exhibition agencies and professional chambers of commerce (associations) of mineral gem have signed the investment service contracts with Chenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center. Some investment attraction teams were dispatched to USA, Taiwan, HK and some other places, which attracted great attention there. Till now, over 200 international exhibitors, 100 HK, Macau and Taiwan exhibitors and 1000 domestic exhibitors have signed the booth contracts. 80% of the stands have been booked out. At the meantime, some more professional teams are still handling the investment attraction issues in South Africa, HK, Macau, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, and other places.

Shenzhen Industrial Agglomeration Base of Jewelry Industry is one of the nine industrial agglomerations of Shenzhen city, which was awarded with the title of “featured industrial base of jewelry of China” by China Jewelry Industrial Association and Management Center of Jewelry of the State Ministry of Land and Resources in 2006. 150 stands were prepared by the third “mineral expo” for Shenzhen city’s jewelry companies.

On the conference, Xiang Lili sincerely invited the principals of Shenzhen Jewelry Industry Association and some jewelry companies to go to Chenzhou city and attend the third “mineral expo”. Xiang Lili said it highly indicated Hunan Provincial Party Committee and Hunan Government’s determination and courage to well improve Chenzhou city’s mineral gem industry by finalizing Chenzhou city as the host of the third “mineral expo”. Chenzhou city is with abundant mineral gem resources and Shenzhen city is the biggest agglomerations base of jewelry in China. Chenzhou city would provide the most favorable policies for the jewelry companies of Shenzhen city via the platform of “the mineral expo” and would efficiently undertake the jewelry industry to gain sound results.

Xiang stated that Chenzhou city is with sound condition of location, ecology, resource, environment, industrial base, economic growth space, and economic and social development. “The mineral expo” is a interactive, experiencing, travel and leisure expo which is with abundant contents and features. Chenzhou city is with natural communication and connection with Guangdong province’s economy that 70% of the investors of Chenzhou city are from the Pearl River Delta area, HK, Macau and Taiwan, and close connection is between industry and tourism. All of those grant large cooperation space and sound improvement trend for Chenzhou city and Shenzhen city. Xiang expressed his confidence that plentiful achievements would be reached via full communication and cooperation of the merchants and Chenzhou city on“the mineral expo” and the expo would be handled out successfully.

Wang Yinqi- Vice President of Shenzhen Industry and Commerce Association said it highly showed Chenzhou city’s great kindness for Shenzhen jewelry companies for it provided 150 stands for Shenzhen companies. Wang sincerely hoped that it would fully show the strength and image of Shenzhen city’s jewelry industry by the 150 stands.

Some municipal leaders of Chenzhou city and principals of some jewelry companies and jewelry associations attended the promotion conference.
