At the end of August, journalists from 11 medias like China News Agency, China Tourism, Hong Kong Wen Wei Po, Hunan Daily, Hunan ETV etc. had a preliminary interview for 2012 China Hunan International Tourism.

The first stop for their interview was to Dongjiang culture square, which is the main venue for this tourism opening ceremony. When they arrived, workers were fighting for the setting of stage lights and decoration of squares. It was learned that Chenzhou government had spent much more money than former tourism festivals on the opening ceremony in order to show the audiences with better visual effect and innovated performances. Journalist from Hunan Radio was impressed with Chenzhou government efforts and looked forward to Chenzhou’s fast tourism development. They also visited Dongjiang Lake tourism culture street.

The pedestrian street under tense decoration has begun to take shape, introducing the water from Dongjiang river into this street, which makes the south Hunan local folk houses combined with water, showing a special visual flavor for visitors.

After the visiting, Long Wenying who is“Hunan Impression”office journalist and editor of Hunan Daily said he was highly expected for the coming of the tourism opening ceremony. According to their visits, he was greatly impressed with the big scale and various highlights in the ceremony, especially for Dongjiang Lake aqua culture features, which were naturally melted into the ceremony. It is common believed that there will be more surprises found in the party of the opening ceremony night.
