It was reported that the awarding ceremony of “2012-2013 Most Admired Companies of China”was closed in Beijing recently. The theme for this ceremony was “to be ahead in the transformation era”. Final lists were issued after the comprehensive considerations on industrial leadership, innovation and competition, sustainable development, environment-friendly, and charity of the companies. Tsingtao beer, Siemens (China), Haier, China Oil and Food Import and Export Corporation, Wanke, Gree, and some other companies were awarded with this prize. It was the tenth consecutive year for Tsingtao beer to win this award. It was the exclusive one with over one hundred year history in the list. Wang Fan- Secretary of Party Committee and Vice-president of Tsingtao Beer Co., Ltd. was present at the awarding ceremony and accepted the prize.

 

It was stated by the judges that it was a essential stage for China’s economic development of transformation from rapid growth to medium-speed and second-rate rapid growth. Under such a transformation background, many enterprises beard high pressure to keep improving healthily. Tsingtao beer and some other respectable companies took their responsibility to lead others to fight for the sustainable development in this transformation era.

 

As the creator of social fortunes and important force of social development, Tsingtao beer kept a leading role in the innovation for over one hundred years. Though Chinese beer industry was with a slower increase speed of 3.06% in 2012, total sales volume of Tsingtao beer was amounted to 7.90 million KL with an increase of 10.48%, accounting for 25.782 billion yuan, up 11.33%. In the first quarter of 2013, 1.829 million KL Tsingtao beer was sold out, up 11.7%. Total sales income was amounted to 6.312 billion yuan, up 12.7%. Total net profit was 510 million yuan, up 11.2%. After celebrating its one-hundred-year birthday, Tsingtao beer figured out a new sports marketing way to promote its further development. A new young image of Tsingtao brand was formed in the mind of consumers and became the top brand of Chinese beer brands.

 

Furthermore, Tsingtao beer took in charge of its social responsibility on the process of its development. Tsingtao beer paid much attention on the concern of staffs’sustainable development and established love funds to help the difficult employees. It also paid attention on the investors to win reasonable profit for them and form a win-win business with the upstream and downstream enterprises in the value-chain. Concerned for environment, Tsingtao beer never stop to upgrade its capacity of green development on the process of technological development, product design, manufacturing, marketing, and etc.. Tsingtao beer also took active actions on the promotion of public welfare programs. Due to all those efforts, Tsingtao beer shares its achievements with society and forms a harmonious relation with the society as well.

 

The experts also stated that more enterprises listed in “most admired companies of China” provided valuable commercial cases for China under such economical transformation period by their great achievements and continued healthy development trend. The experts expressed their willing that more enterprises would pay much more attention on their social responsibility and keep promoting Chinese economic development with their efforts.
