It was learned from Chenzhou Finance Bureau that 5.72 billion yuan general financial revenue was reached in the first quarter of 2013 with a growth of 21.9%, ranking the third place of Hunan province and first place in South Hunan.

Though faced the big pressure of financial revenue growth on the rough economical condition, all the departments of Chenzhou city worked hard on the fulfillment of “Chenzhou take-off” to strongly promote the transportation, city and industry project construction. At the meantime, different levels of finance departments in Chenzhou city carried out different measures to manage the tax revenue resources work and specified the tasks to be completed gradually.

In the first quarter, more expenditure of public finance with a total amount of 6.93 billion yuan was placed on the well-being projects, up 25.3%. Education, social security, employment, medical treatment, water affairs and other issues concerned for people’s living condition were placed with 4.58 billion yuan public finance, taking 66.1% of the total finance expenditure, up 1.9%. That kind of expense enabled all Chenzhou people can be benefited from the improvement of Chenzhou city.
