Chenyong avenue is expected to be completed and opened to public within 2013

Though facing the long rainy season with shorter efficient construction period, 1.15 billion yuan investment of transportation construction was still fulfilled in the first quarter in Chenzhou city. It was maintained the same level as last year.

Chenyong avenue was one of the key projects of Chenzhou transportation construction in 2013 which should be completed and opened to public within this year according to the year plan. Till now, 0.83 billion yuan investment has been accomplished for Chenyong avenue, accounting 51% of its total investment amount. 0.12 billion yuan was finished in the first quarter. Concerning for the 29 projects with 504.7kms, except the upgrading project of 107 national road was still on the process of handling preliminary work, all the rest have been started the construction with 0.287 billion investment in the first quarter.

At the meantime, the expressway construction was carried out well in Chenzhou city. 0.36 billion yuan investment was placed on Yanru expressway and Xiarong expressway in the first quarter. Leiyi session of Jingangao expressway which was with 1.8 billion yuan total investment has been finished the construction plan evaluation of first phase and would be started soon. Some other expressways were hurry on evaluation work and other preliminary preparation work.

Furthermore, rural roads and some other relative projects were fully carried out in 2013 in Chenzhou city. Roadbed construction, bus station field construction, dangerous bridges renovation, greening and upgrading work of main roads, rural roads greening work, etc. were under schedule.
