15 projects amounting 46.9 billion yuan were signed in the ceremony
The strategic cooperation between Chenzhou city and central enterprises was with an upgrading level. 2013 Cooperation Symposium and Projects Signing Ceremony between Central Enterprises and Chenzhou City was held in Beijing on May 28, 2013. 15 projects amounting 46.9 billion yuan were signed in the ceremony. Some national leaders and Hunan provincial leaders attended the signing ceremony. Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee delivered a speech on the ceremony. Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City hosted the ceremony.
“Sweet period ”for cooperation between Chenzhou city and central enterprises
After years efforts on the cooperation with central enterprises, it was a new stage under current situation. In this signing ceremony, more than 10 central enterprises signed the cooperation contracts with Chenzhou city.
It was introduced that more high level investment projects were settled this year, such as 10 projects with over 1 billion yuan, 3 projects with over 5 billion yuan and one 22 billion yuan investment project were achieved there. Compared with earlier year, besides the mineral resources development projects, there were more ecological and cultural projects signed this year.
“Golden period” for central enterprises investment in Chenzhou city
“A wider investment and development platform is available in Chenzhou city under current comprehensive situation.” said Xiang Lili on the signing ceremony.
Xiang also stated that the central enterprises played a more important role in the acceleration of Chenzhou city’s take-off. It sincerely hoped to promote the strategic cooperation with central enterprises. After signing the cooperation contract, better follow-up service and upgraded investment condition would be provided by Chenzhou government for the sound construction and development of all the projects. At the meantime, sincerely hoped the central enterprises would fully promote the strategic cooperation with Chenzhou city to reach the win-win situation in near future.
Hunan provincial government highly supported Chenzhou city’s cooperation with central enterprises
As of this May, among the total 54 cooperation projects between Chenzhou city and central enterprises, 8 ones have been placed to operation and 30 have been started the construction work, amounting 70% of the total signing projects. Such high level achievements reached by Chenzhou city was grabbed the attention from Hunan Provincial Party Committee and Hunan Government.
Huang Lanxiang- Deputy Governor of Hunan Province said: “Chenzhou city is one of the most important parts for Hunan provincial strategic development plan. Actually, the cooperation between Chenzhou city and central enterprises was cooperation between Hunan province and central enterprises. So, should there be anything need the provincial government’s support, both Chenzhou city and central enterprise can feel free to list out the requirements.”
Huang stated that it was an important strategy for the rapid development of Hunan province to work with central enterprise. More comprehensive cooperation measures would be issued by Hunan provincial government to promote the further cooperation with central enterprises.
Some Hunan provincial leaders and Chenzhou municipal leaders were present at the ceremony.
