As an important window to show Hunan image and Chenzhou image, Chenzhou government took great attention to the construction of the multi-track of Beijing-HK-Macau (G4) expressway. In order to implement the greening project task set in second (enlarged) session of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee to launch the upgrading greening work of G4 multi-track (Chenzhou section) and promote Chenzhou city’s establishment of national forest city and three-year greening project, Chenzhou Forestry Bureau figured out detailed planning to carry out the upgrading greening work of G4 multi-track (Chenzhou section). With their efforts, now it has been almost accomplished.

It is about 130kms of G4 multi-track (Chenzhou section) which was opened to public in December, 2012.

Till April 15, 2013, 26304mu barren mountain afforestation work, 68kms village highways greening work, 4.4km river system greening work and 48 villages greening work have been fully finished. Besides those, 1297mu landscape belt greening work planning and budget have been figured out by Linwu and Jiahe county as well.

It was learned that all the upgrading greening work handled out in G4 multi-track (Chenzhou section) was followed the principal to take greening, landscape and traffic safety into consideration. So 20meters wide greening landscape belt, barren mountain afforestation, forest reservation, village and key areas greening work were carried out simultaneously to make sure the project can be fulfilled well.
