It was learned from the rewards list released by National Aflorestation Environmental Protection Commission that four national level awards were granted to the greening work handled by Chenzhou city. The four awards were as follow: Chenzhou Finance Bureau and Rucheng county were entitled with “national model unit of greening work”, Deng Shaolin-Deputy Director of Chenzhou Forestry Bureau and Liu Zhenmao- forest ranger of Yizhang county were rewarded with “national greening medal”.

This selection was held by National Aflorestation Environmental Protection Commission, which was intended to accelerate the greening work and promote ecological construction nationwide. All the awards were honored to the units and individuals contributed greatly on the development of national greening work. As introduced that the “national model unit of greening work” was carried out every two years, while “national greening medal” was handled every year.
