It was reported that the first training course for the employees of leisure summer inns was being handled in Guidong county recently. Some professional teachers from Xiangnan Chef School were invited to teach the students with the knowledge of cooking skills, service etiquette, and etc. It was introduced that the training course would last till the end of this August. The employees of 106 leisure summer inns would take the course by three phases.

2015 China (Hunan) Red Tourism Festival & China (Guidong) Fitness Leisure Summer Festival would be held in Guidong county on July 28, 2015. In order to upgrade its rear services capacities for the red tourism festival, Guidong county launched 100 “rural fitness leisure summer inns” project on this March 1. The project is a family-oriented and natural ecology, ancient dwellings, folk culture, characteristic base and tourism spots-based fitness leisure summer tourism project which mainly provides the rural features services to the tourists. The inns are located near the tourism spots and landscapes of Guidong county.

Currently, the first batch of 106 rural fitness leisure summer inns has been established in Guidong county. The 318 rooms of these inns are capable to receive 636 guests. Every inn is capable to provide the catering service for 50 people at one time. Due to their beautiful outdoor scene, clean and comfortable living condition, sound interior facilities and unique entertainment items, a large amount of visitors are attracted to live there.

“It would help to get at least 40,000-50,000yuan income every year. Villagers’ living condition is becoming better and better.” gladly said by Zhong Hanming- Director of Dadong Village of Guidong county when he was preparing the dishes for the visitors. Zhong spent more than 70,000yuan on attending the “rural fitness leisure summer inns” project. His houses were reconstructed on the basis of the theme of “ecology, leisure, tourism”. Some tourists and student summer camps were attracted to be there. As introduced by Zhong, an American tour group lived in his inn during this “May Day holiday”. “They enjoyed a very good time here.” Now, there are 6 leisure rural inns available in the village and the villagers are busier than earlier days that at least over 100 people would be received by them every weekend.
