When reporters arrived at Gelanbo Technology Company on February 7, 2014, it was re-opened after 2014 Chinese New Year holiday. It was introduced by the principal of this company, about one million robots were sold out in 2013. In order to expand the production scale, a new production project with the capacity of 3 million intelligent robots was launched in last March. Till now, office buildings, workshops, and dormitory buildings were on the final construction stage and were estimated to be placed to operation in this October. Concerned for NI-MH battery industry, a 500-square-meter new workshop was under construction, which would be placed to operation within 1-2 months with the ready employments and facilities.

The industrial parks contributed greatly to Chenzhou city’s economic development in 2013. 443 Hunan provincial and above level scale industrial enterprises were available in Chenzhou city with an increase of 102 new ones, fulfilling 52.51 billion yuan scale industry added value, up 19%. This increase part was accounted for 53.3% of the total increase of Chenzhou city, up 12.9%.

2014 is the last year for “another three-year project”and also the first year for the comprehensive deepening reform. Followed with the industrial transformation idea, reform and innovation and promotion of industry upgrading, Chenzhou city is fighting for meeting the target of 13.5% increase of scale industry added value with an amount of 110 billion yuan. At the meantime, 22% increase for industrial fixed asset investment and 23% increase for industrial technical innovation investment. Furthermore, the rate for strategic emerging industries, high-tech industry added value and industrial park’s scale industry added value would be 24%, 28% and 48% respectively.

It was introduced by the principal of Chenzhou Economy and Information Commission that further acceleration and upgrading would be handled out in Chenzhou city to improve the development quality and innovation. More attention would be placed on the enterprises to promote the innovation. More supports would be tried on the construction of innovation platforms. More efforts would be tried to improve the technology.
